Sodium borohydride is a versatile reducing agent for use in the pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, organic chemical purification, metal recovery, textile and fuel cell industries.
Sodium bromide has been used in photographic processing, in medicine as a hypnotic, anticonvulsant, and sedative. Moreover, it is applied in water treatment as a microbiocide, algaecide, fungicide, sanitiser. It is known as a flame retardant additive, wood perservative and is widely used in organic synthesis.
Sodium molybdate acts an important role as a fertilizer in agriculture, chemicals tracer in chromatographical analysis, effectively corrosion inhibitor in industry. Besides, it has lots of aplications in manufacturing pharmaceuticals, alkaloids, dyes.
Sodium nitrate is used as an ingredient in fertilizers, as a food additive, as well as in glass and pottery enamels. It is used in manufacture of dyes and potassium nitrate, also in pharmaceuticals, metal hot-treating. Moreover, it is used in electronic industry and in making explosives.
Sodium selenite is mainly used in the glass industry to neutralize green streaks. Moreover, it is being used in human nutrition, animal feed formulations applications to elevate the level of selenium in the body.
Sodium tungstate has applications as a catalyst, analytical reagent, fire proofing agent. It can be used in the manufacture of metal tungsten, tungsten acid, tungsten salts, dyes. It is applied in medicinal treatment as an anti-diabetic and anti-obesity agent.
Nitrobenzene is mainly produced as a precursor to aniline. In the laboratory it can be used as a solvent, especially for electrophilic reagents. Nitrobenzene is also used to manufacture pharmaceuticals, explosives, rubbers, dyes, polishes and paint solvents, ocassionally as a a solvent and as flavor in perfumes.
